The Conduit was reopened with all speed. Blake had wondered at the portal’s closing, while Predaking was coming through no less, and sought to see Zorath directly. The foxes stared with undisguised interest at this human and powerful mage as Felicity found. No creatures like humans existed in their dimension, something Felicity had to explain. The dragons and Blake weren’t surprised. Dimensions worked in strange ways and were infinitely diverse. Blake took his leave shortly after everything was explained, knowing Shinkou and the others would need his help holding the portal open for what was coming. The human quickly departed,

The feral dragoness was relaxing comfortably, silently watching the figure she had wrapped in the coils of her long tail. Optric was concentrating on the small screen in front of him, moving and gliding the stylus across the tablet with practiced ease. The featherdrake paused in his drawing to smile up at Amara and give her tail an affectionate rub. "What do you think of it so far?" He asked, holding up the tablet for her to get a better view of it.
There wasn't much quite yet on the screen, just a basic outline of what he was working on. Despite how little there was, Amara could still plainly see that the sketch

The sounds of claws clacking on stone could be heard echoing throughout the nearby area every few seconds, disrupting what would otherwise be a quiet day. Tapping the digits of her paw, Ray had her head turned in the direction of the small form at her side, a gentle churr escaping from her throat. Alec was running his hands along the soft fur of the dragoness' underbelly, happily giving her a soothing bellyrub. The little human had been glad that he had met her. Despite their difference in size, Ray was extremely careful to not harm him.
He looked up to her sightless eyes with a smile. "You're really enjoying thi

September 16th Amity Park Illinois, 6:43 A.M.
She grunted when her foot caught on something, nearly tripping her again, and a small explosion resounded dangerously close behind her. The air from the blast buffeted her forward, unhooking her foot from whatever it was caught on, and caused her to tumble head over heels and land face-first on the concrete sidewalk.
Mierra quickly shook off the pain and grabbed her backpack from the ground from where it fell from her back, running once again away from Ember, who, as she had told Mierra, liked to watch her ‘dance’ to her music.
She ran around a corner and hid behind one of the stair

The Halfa and The Halfling 16
Danny darted around Amity like a black and white bullet, though no one could see because he was invisible.
Only one thought was in his mind, ‘It’s my fault’.
With his ‘hero-complex’ he thought that Mierra’s capture had been his fault. The what-ifs plaguing his mind. Like what if he had walked her home with Sam and Tuck? What if he had been more persistent about the scar around her neck or the apparent pain she was in? What if, what if, what if?
“Danny,” Tucker’s voice cut him out of his thoughts as he communicated through their Fenton Phones.
“Yeah Tuck?”
“There is a
